In 2022, Ryan Hanks purchased the original acreage that would become High Grove Farms — a vision rooted in a deep respect for Florida’s citrus heritage and the rich, sandy soil of Highlands County. What began as a bold investment in the land has grown into one of the region’s most promising citrus operations.
Since that first purchase, High Grove Farms has expanded to encompass over 2,000 acres in Highlands County, producing some of the finest oranges in the state. Our fruit is trusted by top brands in the industry — a testament to the quality that comes from careful grove management, the right growing conditions, and an unwavering commitment to excellence.

Cutrale is a family-owned company headquartered in Brazil, is one of the world’s largest processors and manufacturers of orange juice and related products. The company operates across the orange juice value chain, from cultivation to distribution, and is known for its brands in the juice sector. In 2015, Cutrale, in partnership with J. Safra Group, acquired Chiquita Brands International, expanding its activities into bananas and pineapples. Cutrale’s main activities include the production, processing, and global distribution of fruit juices and fresh produce.
